WHAT TO EXPECT

RINGS, DRESS, SHOES, AND OTHER DETAILS

Having at least 30 minutes for details ensures that we have enough time to get that perfect photo of the dress, rings, shoes, bouquets, and any other important details as you prepare for your day.

Sometimes the hotel room can be crowded or may not have the desired aesthetic; we may have to take the dress to the hallway, the lobby or outside. This can take some time.

PREPARATION

Having an hour of preparation is ideal. During this time, we are getting close ups of the makeup and hair being applied as well as the candid moments and the bridesmaids and groomsmen getting ready for the day. Keep in mind that these are some of the most emotional and fun times of the day, so you don’t want to cut it short.

BRIDE AND GROOM PORTRAITS

Right after prep is the best time for individual portraits of the bride and groom (separately and together if possible). After makeup and hair are freshly done, it is the perfect time and get those perfect portraits before the day gets more hectic.

FIRST LOOK

A first look will melt your nerves and avoid you feeling overwhelmed during the ceremony. You’ll have a beautiful moment to prepare for the day with your loved one. Once we have captured the emotional moments of the first look, it is the perfect time to get some portraits of the bride and groom. We can even include a few bridal party shots which will save us a great deal of time.

First Touch

The first touch, like the first look, takes place before the ceremony. The only difference is that couples cannot see each other. The two are usually separated by something like a door, or one of the couples facing the opposite direction but they can still hold hands. Couples may say a simple prayer, exchange notes, and talk about their moods to ease the tension before a walk. The biggest advantage of First Touch is that you are comfortable before the ceremony. Of course, butterflies still fly around, but they're much more manageable. The electricity you feel when you hold your partner's hand can melt away stress.

WEDDING PARTY PHOTOS

Wedding Party Photos should be around 10-15 minutes. During this time, we get a variety of shots in a variety of poses. We start off with the basic, classic photos focused on great expressions and lighting. Then we move into a set of fun and creative shots.

RECEPTION DETAILS AND VENUE DECOR

Before you have the guests seated, it’s important that we are there to capture the complete set up of your venue site so we can capture the scene at its best. Please allow 10-15 minutes for us to take pictures of the venue , completely set up with no guests or vendors in the area.

FORMALS (EXTENDED FAMILY, IMMEDIATE FAMILY, AND FRIENDS)

We recommend that you schedule a time slot specifically for close family, extended family members, and close friends. Some couples have decided that they want a picture with all guests while others have decided that they only want pictures with a selected few to save time. We recommend being very organized, and create a list of people you might want to take pictures with, if not all.

Photos are memories that will last a lifetime. Choosing the right photographer can help you relive the celebration of love through the moments captured.
